    “Crowley, is this some kind of trick? If it’s a demonic trick, then I-”

    “No. No trick. I swear on…” he paused and considered all the things he believed in and valued, “...well, I don’t have a lot to swear on, but just believe me, alright? It’s not a trick. Just take the note and read it and do as I say. Please. ”

    That last word shot through Aziraphale like a bullet. He’d never heard Crowley actually say please before…certainly not as earnestly as he just had. Unsure what else to do, Aziraphale nodded and Crowley miracle-ed the note over to him. Upon opening it, the angel found a simple yet cryptic message: “ Say ‘Save me’ if you want me to stop.”

    When you're in love with your hereditary enemy, anything that happens between you needs to be secret and stolen...

    Luckily, Crowley and Aziraphale have developed "the game" to keep up appearances.

    Note: The "graphic displays of violence" are in Chapter 9, and I'm not sure just how graphic they are. I think they're pretty mild, but everyone's tastes are different and it's better to be safe than sorry.

    Unable to leave the Earth behind but just as unable to endure another day in Soho, London without Aziraphale, Crowley decides a change of scenery is required. Little does he know the Second Coming is set to begin right where he’s resettled; New York City. Aziraphale, meanwhile, has been kept so busy in Heaven that he’s had no time to think, let alone make a plan to stop the Second Coming from, well, coming. If he HAD made a plan, it certainly wouldn’t have been this.
