She didn't know much, but this... word... rang out in her head. It was the name that sprang to mind when she saw the dark figure approaching her—dark coat, twin braids, fierce eyes. Wednesday.
The girl—Wednesday—spotted her, and her face broke into undisguised relief. "Enid..."
And she felt her mouth move of its own accord, stretching out vocal cords that were scratchy from disuse, simply to voice out one question.

Summary

Enid had spent the majority of Summer break stuck in her wolf form, begging in her mind for Wednesday to make good on her promise. One August afternoon, the bushes shook as a tired and beaten up Wednesday emerged before Enid’s eyes, the sight of the Raven taking Enid out of her form almost immediately.
