    “You’re a fairy. Aren’t you?” William breaks his hold on Damien’s lips and suddenly remarks while they’re in the castle courtyard. Damien's known this man long enough to tell that the miniature smirk at the edge of his lips was just him playing dumb. It was the same words. Nearly two decades later and William still remembers his first words to him.

    “I’m a witch, you dumbass.” The redness in his face slightly calms, a playful grin subtly dominating his previously flustered expression.
