Summary
The villain of Karlan Trade—that was Gnosis. Aside from his (former) position as chief technical officer, he did a number of tasks off the books within the company as co-founder, which he’d done since Victoria, such as managing some of the finances, reviewing prospective contracts and partners, and even occasionally acting on Enciodes’ behalf if it was absolutely necessary.
He also performed a relatively thankless but required task: weeding out prospective trouble.

Summary
Enciodes was strong, incredibly strong. Gnosis knew this firsthand. On a personal level, to endure every hardship thrown at him, and on a greater level to bear the immense burden he’d willingly chosen to shoulder. To look at him, to know him, was to see that he was indomitable; indefatigable; and even knowing him on a more intimate basis like Gnosis did, a moment of weakness was a rare thing for him.
But heavy was the head which wore the crown, and that head needed a place to rest now and then.

Summary
For a fleeting moment Enjin forgets his rut, his predicament, his anger. For a single second, he groans, fingers steepling against the floor, hips bucking up. Despite everything, Gris is familiar. He smells like safety and warmth and Enjin focuses on that feeling as he bites back, nips at Gris’ lips and tries to take control. He bucks again, shifts Gris just enough he can roll them over so he’s sitting on top, and grabs Gris’ face with both hands.
Everybody knows when Enjin's about to hit his rut, he becomes insufferable. And everybody knows there's only one person who can handle Enjin.
