After the Rechinbach fall, after Sherlock had come back, after Mary,after the whole mess, Sherlock and John had realised their love for each other and fallen into a happy,domestic life (along with the cases ofcourse) with the three of them, John, Sherlock and Rosie, Sherlock and John raised Rosie into a sweet, wonderful woman, who later found love and got married, Sherlock and John retired to Sussex happily but no matter how much of a genius Sherlock is and how brave of a soldier John is, time always wins and no one can escape death.

John Watson is reborn again
And he gets a glimpse of what his past life used to be. (Cheesy I know but this idea has been simmering in my head since forever)
