Summary
After that drunken night Macaque is left broken, and he desperately tries to put himself back together piece by piece. But an untimely deadly illness, a certain immortal monkey, and a cursed promise threaten to break down the walls he’s spent so many centuries building up. In the end…is that really a bad thing?
Macaque and Sun Wukong have to figure out what they both want from each other before it’s too late and they are torn apart by fate once again.

“But you still haven’t said what you want.”
He tests the waters. Pushes the buttons. Anything to get Sun Wukong moving. Whether it’s out the door or against his body. He’s not sure which one he craves more.
“Isn’t it obvious?” Wukong says, taking Macaque’s clenched fists and unraveling them with practiced, rough fingers. “I want you.”
Macaque narrows his eyes. “Then take it.” A challenge.
