Bellatrix isn’t crazy. At least, she wasn’t always. But life hasn’t always been easy for her. All she wants is to make her parents proud, to make them love her. By the time she realises they only love what she can do for them, not who she is, it’s too late for her. An annoying blonde tries to prove otherwise. Rita tries to show her that love doesn’t have to come with unrealistic expectations, and that it doesn’t have to hurt. Or so it seems, because Bellatrix has to make an impossible choice - abandon her family or abandon her lover. Whatever she chooses will hurt not only her, but whoever she leaves. Impossible.
Rita understands the difficult position her lover is in. But as the war becomes more dangerous, and Bellatrix is constantly putting herself in harms way, she has to make a choice herself. Abandon the woman she loves, or wait until the day she is told that she will never be able to look into those beautifully dark eyes again.
