Summary
When Tim was 5 he got his first pair of glasses. As well as his first set of contacts because he couldn't let his parents know he was flawed.
The glasses arrived a few days later and on the way home from school, Mrs. Mac and Timothy went to pick them up. On the way home from the eye doctor, they had a very serious conversation.
“Repeat to me what I just said, Timothy.”
Timothy sighed but did as he was told. “I must wear contacts to school, in public, or whenever my parents are around. They must never know about my glasses. Whenever I am alone or with you, at home, I am free to wear them but no one must ever know about my glasses.”
“Very good.”
