Grian wasn’t exactly scared he’d do bad, just… nervous. Paranoid. Ever since he’d done his record breaking freeskate to ABBA, it’d been tough to keep up the practice, to make sure he wouldn’t do too bad in comparison. He couldn’t.
The media was especially rough. Of course, there were people obsessed with the choreo and his execution, but with every superfan posting about how he did, he was hit with the double edge of the knife, the fact that every #1 Grian Moon fan would turn around for some better skater if he didn’t do good again this year.
