Enjolras realizes belatedly that he could just turn around and wait for Grantaire to be done changing, but he’s fixed on the spot, his emotions running all over the place. From thinking about Grantaire hooking up with someone else, to remembering the way it felt when Enjolras could touch, and feel, and fucking talk and not be weird about it. Missing the sound of Grantaire’s laugh, the way it felt when they shared a secret and had the whole world to themselves. Enjolras feels tiny right now, confused, hurt and semi aroused, which is not how he expected this evening to go. He needs things to stop—he thought he had stopped them. Why does it still hurt then?
Rock Band AU. After breaking up for good three months ago, Enjolras is confronted with his ex possibly hooking up with groupies. That's fine, of course. Grantaire can do whatever he wants. That's none of his business. Enjolras won't obsess over it.
