There is a tradition in Kitakami called Obon, and the first one for the deceased is important. It's been more than 49 days since Kieran's funeral, and this year for his family is very important. Juliana is invited, but unsure if she should be there. And even though her friends are at her side, she still wonders, and misses the boy who once was her friend.
But Kitakami seems plagued by a strange force– a vengeful spirit or curse? There's definitely something going on there, and Juliana is determined to help where she can. That was until something, or someone even stranger is welcomed back with the spirits, and the boundaries of space and time are distorted.

After Osial, Childe is sent back to Liyue with two directives: restore the status quo between the Fatui and the Qixing, and try not to cause trouble. Well, not any more trouble than he’s already caused.
Of course, that’s when a client of Northland Bank goes missing, and people start dying — but that’s not a problem when Childe is business partners with a certain consultant at the Wangsheng funeral parlor. Things might be strained between them, but they’re professionals. Cleaning up a mess like this should be a straightforward operation… that is, until clues point to the Abyss being involved. Sometimes Leon thinks back on his years with Rose and it feels as though he can barely hold on to the shape of it all. It morphs and twists, even as he tries to grasp it between his fingertips, turning itself inside-out and outside-in again until he’s spinning himself in circles.
One minute he’ll be thinking about being showered with compliments after a championship battle when he was twelve - about Rose clapping a hand on his shoulder warmly and making Leon feel like the most amazing person in the whole world. The next minute he’ll be flashing back to the press conference afterwards - to feeling shaky and overwhelmed and short of breath. He’ll remember that same voice, the one that had been so kind before, impatiently telling him to calm down, for heaven’s sake, Leon, and get on with it.
