There are awful rumors spread and a high enough bounty for 15-year old Law to be hunted by the world. To his misfortune (or rather, his luck), it's Red-Hair Shanks who catches him.
Alternatively - Shanks didn't expect the monstrous pirate who allegedly ravaged countries and destroyed Windmill Village to be a desperate teenager only trying to survive.

Summary
On his ship, it’s Shachi who handles the food preparations. When left to his own devices, Law often skips meals, too absorbed in whatever task has captured his focus.
That doesn’t mean he lacks the skills. While he doesn’t derive the same passion from cooking as Shachi or Sanji, it has always brought a sense of calm to his days.

Summary
As the cupid of his territory, Law's job is to compile information on the mortals there. He uses his knowledge and observations to match mortals with strong romantic chemistry. It's a year round job, but Valentine's Day is always the hardest time of the year for him. Some matches are easy, simple and quickly paired, but less fortunate mortals find their hearts broken.
One mortal in particular is at the center of several of those heart breaks.
Luffy. The human Law has failed to match too many times to count. Somehow his arrows always miss, frustrating Law to no ends.
He's determined; if Luffy has a destined match out there somewhere, he will find it, and he will finally gift Luffy with his love.
But for now, he's baffled by the mystery of "Angel."
