    Summary

They finally claimed the Koshien National Championship—Seidou standing at the very top at last. At the center of it all was Sawamura Eijun, the ace who carried the team through every hard-fought inning. Victory settled warmly in his chest, a quiet, overwhelming joy that came not just from the title itself, but from reaching it together with the people who had shaped him.

But triumph has a way of carrying a soft ache with it. This win also marked the end of the third-year era—the last time he would stand on the same field as the third-years, the last stretch of days with Miyuki Kazuya, and with Chris-senpai, who had guided him from the very beginning. The future was already pulling them in different directions, each of them stepping toward their own paths.

Lost in these thoughts, Sawamura found himself wondering about all the things left unsaid, the “what ifs” that quietly linger after a dream is fulfilled. Yet just as those feelings began to settle in, he opened his eyes—and realized that something unexpected was unfolding right in front of him, something that might change everything he thought he understood.

    Summary

Sawamura Eijun has regrets like everyone else. Even though he's older and has to fight his own demons, he still respects his ideals, still respects himself. That's why he continues to pitch like never before, even though he's far away from the country where he was born, far away from the people he once thought were important.
In his last game of the season, when the ball he pitches is hit in his face by the cleanup, the last thing he expects is to wake up in some random part of Japan.

“Are you really my brother?! No! Wait a minute! How can I have an OLDER brother in the first place?!”

Eijun really wants to shove a sock in his past self's mouth to shut him up.

Was I that irritating? I didn't remember it like that...

“Shut up, Boke! I've been looking for you for a long time!”

    “HAH?!”

    or

In which Sawamura, an MLB player from the future, basically returns to the past to save himself... or that's what he thinks.

“There are a lot of mistakes I want to fix. A lot of things I wish I’d done better.” Eijun’s voice softened slightly. “But I can’t really do that, can I? So I’ll just have to keep moving forward… and make sure I don’t regret anything from here on out.”

For a moment, neither of them spoke. The night air settled around them, quiet but heavy with unspoken thoughts.

“There are things I regret not being able to do too,” Haruichi said after a while, his gaze lowering. “I promised myself that Aniki and I would make it to Koshien together… but I never got to do it.” His grip tightened slightly on the hem of his shirt, the words coming out softer than usual.

Eijun glanced at him, his expression shifting, but before he could say anything

“I also wanted to see how we would’ve done at Koshien with the previous third-years,” Furuya added. His voice was calm, but there was something resolute beneath it.
