Summary
After Loki takes their seat at the End of Time and Mobius retires from the TVA, Mobius is left struggling to find peace and redefine his purpose by starting a new life on one of the branches.
He can't reclaim his lost family or start a new one, at least not with the one he loves, and he can't just go back to selling jet skis either so he chooses to help other people like him gain some closure the only way he can - he becomes a private investigator, specializing in cold cases.
When his latest missing persons investigation leads to a run in with fellow detective Jessica Jones and they're forced to race against time together to solve it, the two discover there's a much greater conspiracy at play than previously imagined and end up learning more about each other than ever expected.
