   Summary

   Simon is at the bottom of the blood ocean, his fate already decided by the vicious creature just outside the SM-13. But something happens that changes everything: Jack wakes up on earth, but not the earth he has known. Simon is there too, still plagued by the memories of his death and his past.
   Will the pair be able to figure out how to escape? Will they find confidence in each other, or will they fall victim to the world that has them trapped.
