Summary
Usopp could see it now: a big feast, lots of singing and merriment, and absolutely no time to think about the little demons inside your head that were telling you things were wrong. It was what they all needed, not just Nami, and clearly it was up to him to make sure the crew took some time for themselves on occasion. Else they’d all just snap.
So that settled it: before the crew made it to Reverse Mountain and inevitably barreled straight into what was likely to be their own demise, he’d make sure they had at least one good thing to remember their travels in East Blue by. No murderous fishmen, no terrifying pirate butlers, and no Warlords. Just food and fun and absolutely nothing else.
Usopp has the perfect plan to cheer everyone up before they head to the Grand Line. It's foolproof, really.
He just hadn't counted on two very important variables: Luffy and Zoro.

Summary
Luffy paused in his raiding of the kitchen when he saw the calendar on the fridge, the date and the event coming up. His Da's birthday was soon and Luffy began to think, a wide smirk pulling at his lips, a giggle bubbling in his throat as he dashed out the room and towards the girl’s room. He'd need to be sneaky for this plan to work and who better to help him than the best and sneakiest people on board?
“This better be good.” Nami growled low as she threw the door open, glaring up at her captain. “It's the middle of the night Luffy.”
“How would you feel about raiding the Red Hair’s ship and stealing their first mate?”

Summary
"I didn't expect to see you here kid." The voice was familiar, fond with an accent that Luffy knew only two people had.
His head snapped up and around to see his Tio. He was older now, hair pulled up and shaved at the sides, wrinkles around his eyes indicating laughter, his usual staff resting against his shoulder. There was a smile on his face, but Luffy could see the exhaustion in his dark eyes as they roamed over him critically, familiar.
"Tio Hongo." Luffy grinned.
