The snowstorms and winter chills are taking over, resulting in temporarily halting all the Phantom Scythe operations and lune missions. But it does not stop our main characters, Lauren and Kieran to meet up and spend time with each other, rather this time of semi-isolation is rather bringing our beloved couple closer.

Summary
Lauren is finally rescued from the clutches of the Phantom Scythe and is taken to the hospital. Her rescue wasn't an easy thing to pull up, Kieran had to reveal his identity before Kym and William, which left them astonished and questioning their own beloved friend. Upon her rescue Lauren is in a coma and hadn't woken up for the past 15 days. Her return is impatiently awaited by everyone. Kieran visits her everyday but is not allowed to go near her, until she wakes up.
Lauki angst all through out and fluff at the end. Kieran later on helping her in walking. Lauki hugs. Happy ending. -

Everything had been going very fine; Lauren getting her detective post back, Kym and Lucas getting discharged from the hospital and soon returning to work and Lauren randomly wishing Kieran a happy birthday in the cafe, they went together to celebrate her promotion. It has all been going too well to think that soon Lauren and Kieran will be put in a situation that will leave them with more pain and agony than they can think of.
Ps- Lauren getting on PS hit list and then getting kidnapped by Redcliffe. Lauren being tortured and Kieran rescuing her with everything he has.

Summary
Upon Lauren confronting Kieran upon the countless he had murdered and holding remorse for no one, Kieran instead of strangling Lauren and scaring her off ends up breaking down upon realising that he was about to hurt someone he truly loved, and someone he had grown close to ripped off the plaster on a wound he tried to hide for so long.
Communication will be key, and (eventual smut will ensue), as they explore their true feelings for each other, through a pit of denial.
