Law sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose in a futile attempt to ward off his oncoming headache. He’d spent thirteen years burdened with knowledge about Doflamingo’s strange views on family that he never asked for and had tried for so long not to think about, for Cora’s sake as well as his own fragile sanity. A war council table with a bunch of strangers that Law didn’t trust as far as he could throw them (Luffy, of course, being the sole exception to his hard won trust) was the last place Law wanted to bring such things to light, but they were short on both time and options.
”Call it… possessive protection, I guess,” Law said. “It’s sort of like… Like he wants to be the only one that can hurt the people he cares about, or even the people he used to care about.”
Next to him, Luffy stuck out his tongue and blew a very loud raspberry.
“What a weirdo."
In which Law is forced to reckon with an awful secret he knows about the relationship Doflamingo had with Cora, and Luffy is there to comfort him about it in his own, Luffy-ish way.

"My name-" there was the sound of marker squeaking across a white board- "is Trafalgar Law. If you have any complaints about my lack of hand-holding and less-than-professional language, feel free to take it up with Dr. Robin, though I can assure you she will not care."
A low murmur simmered through the room and a girl in the row in front of Luffy began to whisper to her friend.
"He's going to be a doctor? With all of those?"
Luffy finally pulled his head off the table to figure out what the heck they were talking about.
Standing tall at the front of the room and glaring down at a set of notes in his hand, stood their graduate instructor for the semester.
He was also, by far, the hottest man Luffy had ever seen outside of a magazine.

Luffy's just trying to get through A&P1 for his Kinesiology degree when he gets thrown a massive curveball in the form of his graduate TA- Trafalgar Law. Luffy was already dreading this stupid class. Buggy has amassed quite a devoted following after Impel Down, the former Impel Down prisoners turned Buggy followers are hopelessly devoted to their emperor and will go to great lengths to show their undying devotion to him. However, their acts of devotion for their captain often backfires on him in the most unfortunate ways.
With the latest mishap involving an engagement ring the rumor spreads through the seas about Buggy having a 'secret fiancé.' Buggy has to deal with adapting to the role of being a new emperor along with all trying to keep up a facade of being engaged to a secret person that does not exist.
Now red haired Shanks shows up to Karai Bari Island unannounced and uninvited following the rumors. Can Buggy's luck get any worse?
