Summary
“Please don’t tell me you pulled that just to spite me,” Bellamy begs after the two are out of earshot from the council members. Murphy shrugs, pocketing his hands as they make their way outside. “I’ve always wanted a pet.”
Bellamy swears under his breath, and the baby in his arms lets out a sudden unprompted shriek as it wakes. He feels like doing the same.
“So when do I move in?”
Bellamy gags.

Summary
Murphy’s apartment complex is, well, an absolute nightmare.
The neighbors are loud, the lobby windows are barred, and the place holds the perpetual stench of spoiled milk and something akin to death.
But it has it’s perks, he thinks, as he strains to stretch tall enough to stare through the peephole at 4:30 pm each day, waiting for the new guy Murphy has so cleverly dubbed "207"- the mystery man’s apartment number- to walk past his door, one sun-paled leash in each tightly curled fist.
He will pet those dogs if it’s the last thing he ever does.

Summary
Upon returning to Camp Jaha after his time in the lighthouse, Murphy hadn't exactly expected warm hugs and tearful reunions. Hell, he wasn't even fazed when he was arrested on sight and left in a holding cell for nearly a week.
What he hadn't expected at all, however, was to find himself handcuffed to a chair in the remains of the council room, listening to Chancellor Griffin and the newly-elected council decide his fate.
