Curiosity tugged at Harry. “If you don’t mind me asking,” he began carefully, “why are you starting Hogwarts now—in your sixth year?”
Faye’s expression remained calm, though her eyes flickered with a trace of honesty that hinted at depth beneath her poise. “I was homeschooled on an island called Mingulay, way off the Scottish coast,” she explained. “My parents always preferred… alternative education. But I convinced them that I wanted to spend my final years here, at Hogwarts. To finish properly.”
“Got any tips for surviving Hogwarts?” she added, tilting her head playfully and giving the group a mischievous wink.
Ron finally found his voice, smirking as he leaned in. “Yeah. Watch out for Slytherins. Especially Professor Snape. He’s a nightmare.”
