Summary
Goldfishie opened his mouth, then snapped it shut. Instead of yelling at Floyd, he thrust his cup into Floyd’s hands and stomped away angrily. The sound of raspy snickering drew Floyd’s attention back to the table.
“What’s so funny?” Floyd asked. He was always up for a good story.
Ruggie leaned back in his chair and laced his fingers behind his head. “You two.”
“Goldfishie is never boring,” Floyd said before taking a sip of the drink in his hand. It was some kind of herbal crap – not exactly his cup of tea, ha. He chewed on the straw a bit, and his eyes roamed toward the Heartslabyul table.
Two tables over, Azul shook his head. “He lacks any sense of subtlety,” he sighed.
“Floyd has a certain charm of his own,” Jade replied.
