“In the library at this hour?”, Christen asked casually and leant against the desk, looking especially alluring in her green and blue tartan checked pinafore and white button up. “It’s past midnight”.
Tobin leant back in her chair, taking in the full length of the girl stood in front of her. “I was just doing some reading – my housemother yelled at me for my poor grades. I told her I’d be more studious this semester”.
Christen raised an eyebrow and gave Tobin one of her killer looks – the kind that left you frozen in place whenever she looked at you – if she ever did. “I suppose that doesn’t leave time for much else then”
