Summary
Shanks was going to take over the world. The very dark, very broken world. No one knew why exactly. People had theories that it had to do with the void century, others thought it had to do with the One Piece, some thought he had a treasure of his own he wanted to protect. Ace just thought he was insane. He was the reason his island was gone, he was the reason his brother was dead. And because of him he now had to accomplish his brothers’ dreams himself.
Shanks was not parrinoided. He just needed to protect his son. His adopted son who didn’t seem to know danger when it was looking him in the eye. He would not let the world hurt him. Not ever. Even if he had to die he would protect Luffy.
Or
Shanks adopts Luffy and the world suffers because of it.

He feels Luffy’s hands on his cheeks a few seconds later, gently pulling his face towards him. « Come to bed with me. » His husband’s eyes beg him as his lips purse in a slight pout. That manipulating little brat.
Law unconsciously leans against Luffy’s touch while answering. « I won’t be long, just go ahead and i’ll join you la- »
« Husband. »
And who is he to refuse anything to his husband with this tone.

“You alright Straw hat? Luffy?” Luffy pants trying to keep his mind in the room. He felt like he wasn’t real, he didn’t exist for a second. Was that blacking out? Did Law almost make him black out? Luffy swore in a whisper.
“I think I almost passed out.”
“You want to stop?” Law stopped moving completely. “I wont mind, i can help myself hm?” He noses at Luffy to make him look at him, get a sip of his lips for the one hundredth time. This type of affection from Law is beyond messing with his head, he really is like a cat whether he knows it or not.
“No, I want Traffy to finish too.”
