Sollux drags Karkat out to a shaved ice place so he can give him his birthday present. It's not at all like what Karkat expected. You, maybe. Karkat? No. He should have though considering this is Sollux and Dave we are talking about here, what do you expect? Actually, we aren't talking about those two because this is about Karkat and John's first meeting in this AU.
This was inspired by my vacation to Albuquerque, New Mexico, when I went to the best shaved ice place in all of history. I was very satisfied.
Btw, the only reasoning behind the title is shaved ice and Sollux being a butt.

As you can see, I am much better-looking than whatever the fuck that thing is. Also that is some fucking weak ass shit as far as fire-breathing goes. And why the fuck would I need a sword? I’m a fucking demon,” he huffs, then shakes his head. “Would you consider this cultural appropriation?” He raises his eyebrows expectantly, waiting for Derek’s answer.
“How did – I – you’re – is being a demon a culture?” Derek blurts.

Bitty meets Jack on a Saturday morning at approximately the asscrack of dawn about a month after he officially adopts Therese. He knows who he is, of course, was heartbroken when the Falconers were knocked out of the playoffs in the second round.
Any other day, he would be shocked and excited. Today, however, he’s too tired to really care who walks into the shop. All he cares about is the fact that Therese is still fussing and it’s seven in the morning and he still hasn’t had any coffee. “I’ll be right with you, just give me a minute to get this little princess calm.”
And apparently Jack Zimmermann is some sort of Disney prince, because he responds with, “Do you want any help? You look exhausted and I’m pretty good with kids?”
