"...Yes", he leaned forward, slow steps till his hands encircled both of Xiao’s wrists, pushing Xiao back till his back hit the wall. “What I wish to know, my dear Adeptus, is, how you,” he was close, oh so close and Xiao could see the faint flecks of dark blue swimming amongst his teal eyes, “The grand and mighty golden-winged king, the Conqueror of Demons,” his eyelashes were long full things, curving downward as Albedo’s eyes grew half-lidded, his gaze downcast, flicking up every so often from Xiao’s lips to his eyes, making sure Xiao was paying attention, “Would look like, on his hands and knees, begging for mercy,” and oh, was Xiao paying attention, absorbing every word, every breath, every flick of his eyelash and every second too long his gaze spent on Xiao’s mouth.
“What do you think that would look like?” Albedo hummed.
Xiao didn't know. But the way Albedo looked at him, studied him, watching as if committing every detail of his to memory, he longed to find out.
“Would you like to know?”
