Avery, a 12 year old boy meets Sam, a 'monster' of all that Avery is afraid of. They meet just after it is revealed that Avery's mother, Mary, is pregnant, and it may not be Avery's father's, John. After Mary leaves, Avery is abused and Sam comes to the rescue, but now with 3 dead what will happen?
