   Summary

   Kintsugi "golden joinery”: The Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with urushi lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum.

   The Meta was a monster made from the implantation of a determined AI and a mute soldier. Had the Director not given in to the demands of his daughter for the sake of his own selfish ambitions, perhaps that might not have been. The Twins were meant to serve two agents after all.
