Summary
It was meant to be a quick procedure. A standard root canal to repair the damage of neglect from years of poor dental care, an hour on the bench, nothing more. It ended with you waking in a tin can, falling from high orbit onto a sparely populated Rimworld, naked, afraid. And at the mercy of strange creatures in a place you quickly learn is far more dangerous than it first appears.
Your mere presence upsets the unstable balance at the colony you find yourself. Tensions grow, lines are draw, your safety is in question. At the center of it all, a strange creature slowly wiggles its way into your heart.
Somehow, that makes all the pain and suffering worth it.
