It starts with the epilogue of the finale, but I wouldn't call it that. In fact, it's the beginning of how everything we saw wasn't what actually happened. Mike, you're not going to have a good time.
Byler Endgame, but our Jane/El will get what she deserves, especially because I hold her and the Wonder Twins, her and Will, in my heart.
Many things have changed from canon, starting directly with the Abyss/Dimension X. I'm picky when I want to be, so if some things seem different in terms of settings and powers, it's normal because I'm going in a completely different direction.

Before anyone else can speak up Mike blurts out. “What’s your name?”
The girl looks over at Mike and for some reason her face softens a bit looking at him. Her lips parten for a bit and Mike glances down at them for a second before snapping his eyes up back at hers. A flash of recognition crosses in her eyes and she seems to also see something in Mike that he sees in her. “My name is Willow, Willow Byers.”
“What. The. Fuck.” Lucas says while gaping at Willow.
It took 16 years and his female counterpart, for Mike Wheeler to realize Will Byers is the love of his life.
