    Izuku had always known that he would never marry for love. He was a prized Omega prince and his small home kingdom needed someone larger to protect them or they would be swallowed up by another kingdom soon. It had never been a secret that Izuku would be wed to the heir to the throne of the Bakugou kingdom.

    Bakugou Katsuki had made it very clear that the only reason he had agreed to marry Izuku was the rich agriculture of the Midoriya kingdom and Izuku’s potential of birthing him a strong heir. He would protect Izuku and his people, but he would not love him. He would respect his input as his consort, but he would not share his bed unless he was in heat. Their relationship was nothing but a business transaction.
    Izuku knew all of that.

    It still didn’t stop him from falling head over heels in love with his husband the first time he had laid eyes on him when they were both still children. And because of that Izuku wasn’t surprised by the doom that came and found him later in his life.

    “You love Dynamight,” Kota said.

    Izuku let out a long-suffering exhale. “I beg your pardon?”

    “You forgot Hero Dynamight over your girlfriend,” Kota continued. “That means that he’s… he’s the love of your life.”

    Kota’s cheeks reddened like he was embarrassed about what he had just said. Izuku stared at him. He didn’t know a Hero Dynamight. But there were a lot of heroes he didn’t know. The world was a big place, after all.

    “You grew up together,” Kota barrelled on. “You tell us all the time how the two of you are friends. He guest lectures here sometimes. You… you don’t know who I’m talking about?”

    Izuku swallowed hard as he looked at Kota’s face. If this were any other student, he wouldn’t believe it. But Kota wasn’t the type to joke or kid around, especially not with something of this magnitude.

    Izuku accidentally gets hit with one of his students' quirks and temporarily forgets the love of his life - who is not, as it turns out, his current girlfriend.

    Midoriya Izuku has always had a sharp mind. He aims to transfer to the U.A. Heroics course from the Support Course. He knows he’s smart enough to get in, and he’s always been gifted with making things. He just never thought his items would be of use to him before U.A.

    Tsukauchi Naomasa never expected a phone call from a twelve-year-old child who’d been kidnapped by villains. Who was still in the hands of villains. But he’d be damned if he let this kid die.

    A fic about Izuku being kidnapped by the LoV, but staying on the phone with Tsukauchi, Eraserhead, and Present Mic the whole time.
