Summary
Growing up in a family of storytellers, Jun didn’t believe in the Heartless Lord’s tale. Until he comes face to face with him. He was supposed to be a myth, a character in the stories, not the man who offers to save Jun's father’s life. Weird, fluttery tingles jolt across Chan’s body every time Wonwoo’s breath hits his sweaty, sheen skin. Chan’s head spins even harder as he tries to shake his head, his distorted sense of balance sinking him even further into Wonwoo’s hold. “Ish not heat. That’s impossible, mm a beta.”

Summary
In the mundane rhythm of his office-bound existence, Wonwoo’s life takes an unexpected turn when he’s thrust into dog-sitting for a friend. Wonwoo knows next to nothing about dogs, and he knows even less about secret dog-hybrids.
Chan is the family disappointment of a dog-hybrid, unable to shift at his grown age of 22. His hatred for humans certainly doesn’t help when he’s forced into Wonwoo’s care.
