Once again, the message was read and unanswered.
Why did he have to keep pushing? Blitzø clearly didn’t want to talk to him, and why should he? Stolas was not worth anyone’s time and attention.
Pathetic. Disgusting. Unwanted.
Tears poured down his face, and his breath came in short gasps as his mind consumed him so completely that he almost missed the sound of his custom ringtone for Blitzø. He was calling Stolas; he never called.
His hand shook as he answered the call, forcing himself to sound calm. “Hello?”

" It's hard to say when he gets worried about it. Blitzø has been constantly stressed since - well, that's not a good hole to dig - at least the trial. All of today, he's been pretty fucking terrified of what Stolas might say or do when he gets up. But when it's dark again, he's plagued by the scarier thought that Stolas might just. Not get up. "
