Summary
No one feels anything until they touch their soulmate. Old pureblood families have long considered it a curse, one that a Muggleborn performed centuries ago to spite them. Some have gone as far as murder to avoid "tarnishing" the family name. Others understand that the magic knows what's best for them.
Albus knows his soulmate is Scorpius, but for five years, Scorpius has flinched away from any touch that would confirm it. In the aftermath of the war, Lucius and Narcissa let Draco marry his soulmate, and they’ve regretted it since. They won’t make the same mistake with their grandson, no matter how much Draco protests.
