“Can’t you?” Till mocked his overly formal tone, blowing another puff of deliciously scented smoke in his face. Not because of the artificial sweetener. Just the knowledge that it came from Till’s mouth was enough. “You’re the host, jackass. You can do whatever you want. I’m your boyfriend, if those assholes don’t like it, they can get the fuck out of your house, yeah?”
“Yes,” Ivan replies instantly, almost breathlessly. “Of course, Till, you’re right. Are you sure? I know how much you dislike parties.”
“I can handle it.”
For both of their sakes, Ivan really hoped that he could.
