(But seriously, there is no way that those two weren't being gay on main in front of everyone for the entire voyage, based on how those two random background characters reacted in 118. Shout-out to the one telling them to get a room 🤣)

A 30(ish) days of one-shots writing challenge! (Please toss a coin in a fountain for me and my perfectionist tendencies T_T)
Gonna be using a mix of prompts from Femslash February 2024, Fanovember 2024, and Fluffcember 2024, going in order and using at least one of the three. I also might take requests based on any upcoming prompts!
Just to set expectations, I'm planning on it being mainly focused on Lapis and Calla's relationship, sometimes through interactions with other characters to flesh out character development and broader relationships and some worldbuilding. I'll probably write in the chapter titles if a chapter will focus more heavily on other relationships besides Calla/Lapis or if it'll be AU (some of the cute holiday prompts will probably have to be AU).

Summary
A thousand years of so-called divine power has stagnated the art of magic, being divorced from the true, vibrant spirit of dark power for so long. For Calla, holding back from the full depth of dark power feels like wearing a shackle around her neck. Inspired by a long-forgotten memory, a quiet part of her yearns to let her magic sing. Luckily for her, the only other person with whom she can share that song has just stumbled into her office with the perfect excuse to sneak out and do just that.
But even more than that will be shared between them that day.
(Takes place in the time skip between seasons 1 and 2)

Summary
Past and present, memory and reverie, blend together as Lapis struggles to reconcile who she once was with who she is now. At the same time she is also a teenage girl, with all the confused thoughts and feelings that period of life occasionally entails. Memories aeons past give her a glimpse into a side of Calla that she never thought (but apparently now dreams) she would know.
A follow up of sorts to “The Space In-Between”. Nothing explicit, but rated M just to be safe. I’m gonna stick to G and T ratings in the future for my own sanity and plot-relevancy (if you wanna skip over the second half where the steamy stuff is), but the writing gods called and there was too much lore, character development, and in-universe setup for future fics for me to ignore them, as hard as I tried. I did tell y’all that the tone would be really different for parts of this one (but I tried to keep it sweet and tasteful), so buckle up!
