What did I think I would hear? I felt like an idiot for expecting answers from the almost mute man. The most he could do this deep under his melancholy was obey me like a dumb dog. In front of me, Yoo Joonghyuk simply continued to yank at his dirty hair. Whether he did it to untangle his hair or pull his fingers away, I didn’t know.
“Stop that,” I scolded. Hair still tangled between crooked fingers, Yoo Joonghyuk ceased all his movements.
Away from prying eyes, in the quiet hours of dawn, Kim Dokja takes pity on his protagonist; unbeknownst to him, Yoo Joonghyuk makes up his mind to search for a better world.
