Summary
It starts, as so many things involving them do, with a taunt, a challenge, and an inescapable, stubborn, childish need to win.
“You wouldn't know a good kiss if it bit you, shit-cook.”
Sanji laughs at that ludicrous statement. “A good kiss wouldn't bite, moron. You're delusional if you think you know more about good kissing than me. Know more about anything, really, I mean, come on.”
Sanji's about to turn away and melt into the crowd, forgetting this interaction entirely, when the shitty swordsman says something he simply cannot ignore.
“Bet?”Sanji and Zoro hook up once, but it's just to prove a point. The second time is to even the score. The third time, well...and the fourth...and fifth...and maybe Sanji has a problem.

Summary
When Zoro finally decided to pay the love cook a visit at his restaurant, several years after the crew split up, he was fully prepared to be verbally assaulted with taunts and insults about his newfound weight, or get kicked in the head for not adhering to his usual diet. What he doesn’t expect is for Sanji to be… flustered.
And somehow it only escalates from there.

Summary
“You’re lucky, Zoro,” she had spat, eyes turned up towards the sky, like she was trying to hold in tears. He'd never seen Kuina cry before. He’d never seen any expression on her face other than her teeth gritted in determination or her grinning in victory. “I want to be the greatest swordsman too. But girls grow up, and their bodies become weaker than men's. I’m never going to be the greatest.”
Kuina tells him this, and Zoro can barely comprehend the words she’s saying. He thinks of the countless hours he’s spent training by the river bed, the green locks of his hair left on the floor after Koushirou helped him shear it all off, of the people he thought of as family a lifetime ago calling him by a name he despised. Zoro puts a hand to his chest, where he’d hastily wrapped bandages earlier that day, remembering how his body had begun changing and he didn’t understand why-
“You’re lucky to have been born a man, Zoro,” Kuina finishes lamely.
Zoro sees red.

Summary
Sanji wasn’t ready for his father to know he was getting divorced, and his sister’s wedding was the last place he was going to break the news. Pretending he was still married to Zoro for a weekend was the lesser of two evils when he imagined what telling his family might look like. Sanji could handle it. He had to.

Summary
“You know,” Zoro says. “I didn’t think I had any chance with you, Cook, because you’re such a filthy womanizer. I never thought you’d ever look my way twice.”
“What changed?” Sanji breathes.
“You came to my match.” Zoro runs his finger against the length of Sanji’s throat, letting his fingers rest against his pulse where his heart is jackhammering against it a million miles per second. “And you haven’t been able to take your eyes off me since.”
“That’s not true.”
“Don’t lie. It’s okay to want it.”
“You have to be joking.” Sanji laughs mirthlessly. “I’m literally twice your age, I’m old enough to be your father.”
“So what?” Zoro muses. "Why should that matter at all if I want it, too?"
OR/// The one where Sanji is twenty years Zoro's senior, and there's no way they could be together, but they still want each other anyway.
