Idia scoffed.
“Don’t act all proud, Shroud. I know of that little crush you had in your dream.” Malleus knew right there from the pink tips of those blue locs that he had put Idia exactly where he wanted, flustered.
“You put that in the story.”
“Haha, I didn’t, Shroud. Promise, that was all on you.” Malleus lingered his fingers across Idia’s upper arm, all the way down to his palm. “I wouldn’t mind reciprocating in the next dream, if that would make you happy.”
Idia slapped his hand away. “Stop-” He inhaled sharply, “toying with my emotions. I’m not your fucking game character who’s feelings you can control.”

Ace was a liar. Or as he liked to call it, an actor. Since he was little, he liked to act as superheros or as the wonderful mage he told his brother he would become. It always made his brother laugh, saying he had good acting skills and that it was impressive how he would make up backstories and answer weird questions about his characters on the spot.
Then he started lying about everything.
