Strong contender for my favorite worm fic. Hard to really distill what I like about this fic, it's just really well done. The characterizations of the Butchers is great, it does a great job at creating an engaging story that avoids unnecessary stations of canon, the downtime/slice-of-life scenes bring so much life to these characters, and there are tons of scenes that I reread all the time—especially all the reveal scenes & their aftermaths. The Butcher info sheet on SpaceBattles is very helpful for keeping track of who’s who, especially in the earlier chapters, but I’d stay away from the SB commentary on the Levi and S9 arcs, it gets pretty nasty.

For better or worse, Taylor's newly acquired parahuman abilities and her unintentional stumble into villainy were not what she expected. Her life was now a barely controlled freefall, and Nobody definitely wasn't helping. Even if they were doing their best. And, on top of all that, what in the world was going on with Emma and Sophia?
Alt-Power Taylor with a power that is... difficult... for her, to say the least, but brimming with potential if she can figure out how to correctly harness them. And, of course, keep Nobody from getting distracted.
Now, if only she could also keep Emma out of her head.

Some days, however, she didn't like it in the slightest. Some worlds weren't very pleasant at all. The thorns and the creeping dark still haunted her, and she never knew when she would accidently delve too deep.
But she could forget about those days, when she got lucky enough to wander back to Sarah, again.

“Can someone without a quirk become a hero?”: the series
Very angsty and more than a bit depressing, but with a satisfying, happy ending. It's really neat to see just what Midoriya is capable of when he's dedicated to his goal, and he has a great character arc in WOTEACB (the third fic in the series) as he heals from his trauma, plus several really nice cathartic moments.
