Summary
Casters* are among us and so are many other creatures. Based off the series Beautiful Creatures, here is a story about a boy coming to terms with who he is and the power held within him.
Casters- Higher being with the ability to use magic. In this story the universe decides if you become light (good) or dark (evil) on your 18th birthday.

Summary
Michael just doesn’t understand what it’s like to meet someone and feel such an instant, electrifying connection. He’s never been so drawn to someone that he resorts to such tactics. Ashton doesn’t tell him that, doesn’t want to be on the receiving end on his overdramatic pouts and pained eyes, but it’s the truth. At the end of the day, Ashton knows his feelings are more than just attraction - he couldn’t stop watching Calum if he tried.
“And he can’t see you through the window?" Michael asks.
“Not at all.” Ashton watches as Calum rips open an envelope, smiling at the card he finds inside. It makes Ashton grin too. “I’ve waved to him, got no response. He’s fucked his friend twice now, and I’ve been right here watching.” Michael laughs. “Not like that. I just happened to glance over and - ”
“Oh, you just happened to, huh?"

“This isn’t a date,” Michael insists. His stomach feels like it’s fluttering, and he doesn’t like it one bit. “I don’t go on dates, okay?”
“We’re just two friends getting coffee,” Ashton agrees. He’s nodding along, eyes understanding, but Michael needs to make sure he truly gets it.
“And not having sex.”
Ashton laughs. “Oh we’re not?” He says it so casually, like he’s not causing Michael inner turmoil just by paying for his coffee. “A shame.”
