It's wonderful, Saito thinks to himself, how much better the world is after some light homicide. His brain is feeling somewhere close to normal, and he doesn't want to waste a second of it. But of course Ryuki's brain is out of whack the second Saito's comes into focus. He doesn't feel like waiting, not now when waiting has a heavier weight to it.
A dry chuckle escapes Saito's lips, but it quickly warps into something darker.
