Summary
First time he saw you. He knew what you was—a con artist—fine as they come. Poker table surrounded with frustrated and confused men. Then there was you with your doe-eyed innocence and totally not obvious tells. Horribly concealed frowns when you had a bad hand. Straightening posture when you had a good hand. Needless to say you walked out of that place with pockets fuller than when you came in.
To say that Hosea was amused was an understatement. Talent like that is hard to come by. He might say he finally met his match in theatrical thievery. The glint in your eyes held the unmistakable mirth at a con going to plan. Collaboration was inevitable.
