Summary
Hornet walks closer to the duo, and almost immediately, Phantom stretches out an arm and motions for her to come join the impromptu hug with a quiet, incomprehensible murmur.
She obliges, nestling herself between her partners as she embraces both of them, taking in the familiar feeling of their claws upon her shell. On her left, she feels the soft heat of Phantom’s silk shell pressed against her, on the right, she feels the gentle cold of the Sentinel’s metal body, gradually warming up from the prolonged embrace.
OR
After a long day of completing wishes around Bellhart, Hornet, Phantom and the Second Sentinel return to their bellhome to wind down and rest for the night.

Summary
For constructs made entirely of Silk, utmost care must be taken during their creation to prevent unintended quirks in the body's nervous system. Major modifications to the construct's sensory nerves can cause unintended side effects, such as the Silk underneath the outer layer of the construct's shell gaining extreme sensitivity to touch.
Grand Mother Silk never gets the memo, leaving Lace to learn this the hard way.
