Summary
Sanji laughs, unable to help himself, and Zoro’s smile grows wider as he joins him. It’s fascinating to Sanji, to hear Zoro’s laugh for the second time today. Something that’s usually so rare that they’d all wondered if it had been lost in their time away from one another, and yet here Sanji sits watching Zoro close his eye, his hand still pushing his hair back as he tilts back his head, a carefree laugh rumbling from somewhere deep and wonderful in his chest as he glows warm and golden under the setting sun.
It’s captivating, and as Sanji’s heart lurches deep down against his ribs, he isn’t entirely sure he can deny why.
Or, five times Sanji falls in love with Zoro, and the one time he does something about it.

Summary
[After drunkenly hooking up one night during the post-war party in Skypiea, Zoro and Sanji end up falling into a habit. Sometimes Zoro would corner him in the kitchen while Sanji was by himself, coming up with a new recipe for breakfast in the lonely hours of the night. He would bend the cook over the kitchen counter and pound him until he was satisfied, licking the spend off his fingers after stroking Sanji until the man was left mewling. Other times, Sanji would find him training on the ship’s quarterdeck, beads of sweat running down his body as he lifted his weights.
When they woke up the next day, it was like nothing ever happened. They didn’t talk or even spare a glance at each other, like they hadn’t been eating each other alive the previous night. Sanji would go to his kitchen and Zoro would go train on the deck.]

Zoro and Sanji have a messy, no strings attached relationship, and slowly realize their feelings for each other as time passes.
