Summary
The silhouette of a man stands just out of reach of the soft lights over the countertop. The only thing distinguishable about him is the steely glint of metal just peeking below the wrist of his sleeve.
“You Howard’s kid?” The figure asks, still encased in shadow.
“Who’s asking?” Nearest suit was downstairs. He could call it up, but he wasn’t keen on smashing up all of Pepper’s interior design efforts. And, he figures, if the guy wanted to kill him, he would’ve dispensed with the pleasantries.
