Alexander Mahone grew up in a home without love, and even well into his adulthood, life doesn't seem to get easier for him. He is made to do egregious things by a covert group of multinational organizations to further their agenda, while his career and family hang in balance. Bit by bit, he does things that go against everything that he stood for - everything that he cared about. And he starts to lose himself.
This fic is my take on Mahone's story. It follows canon pretty closely, except for a few changes here and there and insight into how he feels and what he is thinking.
