Star-crashed
Adjective
[ˈstɑːr,kɹæʃt]
The term "star-crashed" or "star-crashed lovers" refers to two people whose love for each other is doomed to end in a violent collision.***
It wasn’t easy, really. The healing thing. Gi-hun worked hard for it, and he was finally starting to feel better. He could finally let go of his past and fulfill the promise he had made Ga-yeong far too long ago.
But when past mistakes threatened to resurface, suppressed memories crashed into Gi-hun like a truck driving at full speed, awakening emotions he never thought he’d feel again.
A fic in which Jun-ho’s timing was on the right side of history for once. Gi-hun survived the last game and finally got the chance to heal, only for one walk in the park to ruin it all.

Summary
There was not a word in the world to describe how Gi-hun was feeling. It was a mixture between pure hatred seeing a face he once trusted his life with and utter relief seeing the face of a man he thought had died. The realisation of having killed an innocent man because Gi-hun needed someone to blame for the failure of the plan, only to now know that it was never Dae-ho in the first place. The culprit was right there, right in front of him. To make it even worse, Young-il's expression was completely unreadable, making Gi-hun feel alienated by his own emotions; pain, anger, relief, frustration, hope, grief, defeat—all of it crashed into him like a wave of despair.
A fic because I felt like the confrontation between Gi-hun and In-ho was INCREDIBLY lacklustre and they both deserved so much more explaining to do. Also I made a drawing of them based on that one Jude Law scene in Wilde (1997) and I was inspired for them to hook up in In-ho's office hm
