Summary
Imagine a recognizable near-future Earth, but with a remarkable twist: certain species of animals primarily canines and felines, but also others like mustelids, marsupials, vulpines, procyonids, and many more have evolved into sapience and sentience. They walk, they talk, they have lives, loves, families, and complex societies interwoven with humanity. They form clubs, hold opinions, and yes, some even learn to become K-9s. This isn't just a world with talking animals; it's a world where the lines between species are beautifully, chaotically blurred, creating unique friendships, unexpected heroes, and entirely new dynamics in society.
However, The fragile peace of this extraordinary world is shattered when the Red Star Alliance (RSA) , a formidable coalition of North Korean, Chinese, and Neo-Soviet forces launches a devastating, multi-front invasion of the United States. Major cities fall under their boot heels, the government fractures through corruption and ineptitude, and ordinary life dissolves into a terrifying struggle for survival under a brutal occupation.
