One from the land, one from the sea, Cloud and Tifa begin a surreptitious friendship as children. Summary
He is ancient, too, he knows. It’s all anyone says about him anymore. No one he remembers meeting on his initial quest recognizes him except for Impa, Purah, and the Sages. Maybe it’s because his arm is not his arm and all that was ever important about him was that there was a special sword in his hand, because he isn’t following three steps behind the Princess whenever she shows her face in public, because he’s nothing but a legend to the kingdom he died to protect a hundred and some years ago, fading away with the passage of time.
