Instantly, the arms around his waist loosen and he feels Kalim perking up behind him. A few seconds later, his footsteps echo in the kitchen and soon disappear in the hallway. It should feel like a win, but Jamil knows it's a complete and utter loss. If he were thinking straight, he would have coaxed Kalim into leaving without having to resort to offering his own room… He takes off his hoodie which faintly smells like pre-heat pheromones and waves his Magical Pen over it, sending it directly into his room and far, far away from him. The more distance there is between Kalim and things that remind Jamil of him, the better – all while ignoring the pointed gazes of the other students in the kitchen.
Or: Jamil and Kalim patch things up, one heat at a time.
